About the Dentist
Dr. Wright graduated from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 1975. Following dental school, he served as a dental officer in the United States Navy. In that capacity, he treated over 2,000 naval personnel from all over the United States.
Dr. Wright has been in private practice in the Pontiac / Bloomfield area since 1978. Since the beginning of his practice, he has been a member of the American, Michigan and Oakland County dental associations.
Dr. Wright has many professional accomplishments, one of which includes being the president of the Oakland County Dental Society from 2003 to 2005. In 2008, he was recognized by Hour Detroit magazine as a top dentist. Dr. Wright was also one of the founders of Give Kids a Smile Day, which takes place every year at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry.
Dr. Wright is married to Joyce, who grew up in Pontiac. He has two children, Tyson and Chrystal, and is the grandfather of Tyson Jr. Dr. Wright enjoys fishing, sports and reading. He also has a long-standing love for the Michigan Wolverines. Go Blue!
